Mods didn't do anything wrong. What they did was just being a shitty human, nothing wrong about that. Just leave it at that, event is over but they will forever be known as heartless jerks not deserving of the title "Player Mod".

I still cannot believe that this event is not a giveaway event. I mean, come on, when you have a christmas theme branded on your event, it automatically assures that someone will get something (In this case, I think they got their butts kicked...). Oh well, competitiveness and spirit aside, you should really say sorry to those players you beat because you just ruined their worlds.

To add to that, I asked GM Porky after we beat Quickly's team to please let the losing teams get the SP deck anyway. T_T

he replied with "no that wouldn't be fair to the Asia and EU teams that lost"

However, the only thing that triggered this hateful criticism and uproar is the sentence "but, it is up to you" that the GM used. Again, in this case, I guessed he just added it to not put pressure on the mods after "Go easy on them" since the GMs probably do not want to give orders to players. It just got interpret differently, that is all. Therefore, it was just a miscommunication between two parties and alas, led to this disaster...

Just because someone says, "It's up to you", it doesn't mean you to do anything. It's not the GM's fault for doing this. They are trying to bring the community together by playing a friendly game with a reward at the end. It was up to the player mods to give up a single L for the happiness of others.

The fact that y'all cannot give up your pride and take a single loss is ridiculous. Sure, they should "earn their win", but I believe they deserved it if they tried for the event. If they came in and score 2 points and automatically thought they were gonna get a SP deck, that's their fault. They tried, and y'all basically took away their chance of happiness and hope for this game.

A new player gets a SP deck from an event, and would be like, "Cool. I appreciate this game, community, and GM's for giving me a shot at being good." Now, they gonna be feeling like shit around Christmas time.

Don't blame the GM's, and don't blame the inexperienced players. All the mods who participated just decided to interpret their words as, "Let's ruin 9 people's Christmas."

There really isn't anything that we can do now. Voicing our opinions won't matter. GK's system of picking mods is ridiculous anyway, so even if they were all removed of mod status, another heartless guy would take their place. To solve the toxicity, the community itself must become better. We can all take this as a lesson of "Christmas is the season of giving".

In summary: if you think winning in this event was wrong then the GMs and other mods are innocent. I'm 100% the one you should be hating. If there is another event like this and I have to play in it again then you better bring it I'll promise you that. I'm a player mod for a lot of reasons. But losing on purpose in any scenario wasn't one of them and never will be and that's just the player I am.

I played every game the same way and gave every team chances to win the game.. I always made sure it was within 2 possessions and that they could win if we were ahead the only way to possibly make it easier was shooting half court shots all game.. I took a good amount of shots hoping for the block to to get blocked and was hoping I missed shots too since I took off all attributes but what's done is done.. but I sincerely apologize for how each game turn out I should have went about it differently

It's been 2 days and this the last time I'll post. I'm not apologizing for playing the game and having fun. Some people including SK are even saying Astro had a good enough team to win. As for that level 20 PF that I apparently boxed out I did apologize. Also to foe and that SG quickly. Quickly was a good sport about the whole situation. That's why I'll do what I can to see if compensation will be done for those fellas. Other than that like I said it's been two days. Zyd you are honestly full of yourself lol
