Thanks man. I truly appreciate it but my parents argue with me that engineering is better because pilots rarely make 6 figure salaries and whatnot so there is still confusion

Don't pick a major just for the money. A lot of people come into college with that mindset and when classes get hard, they get frustrated. For example, I have a friend who's mom was an education major. Teachers usually don't make that much money, but she eventually became a principal and now makes around 6 figures.

Also a heads up for any college bound folks here, make sure to balance out your classes with easy and hard stuff. Don't make the mistake of trying to take all the hard stuff at once. Your GPA will thank you for it.
