  • Power Forward! PF Guide (Also Available on Steam)

The Basic Knowledge of Power Forward ( edit )
So first off, Congratz on making a PF. Now what you need to know is PF(s) are really fun characters/position to play as, I mean who doesn't love Dunking on your opponent, Blocking Shots/Dunks, and of course Dominating the Boards over Centers. Now back to the topic, every Lv1 PF has these skills that are automaticly placed and cannot be removed.
Passive: "SP Dunk Success III"(Dunks are more successful.), "Post Shot Focus III"(Post shot is harder to defend and have a higher chance of going in). "Dunk Focus III"(Dunks are harder to defend and have a higher chance of going in).
Active:Dunk at Will (Press F) - in the paint (range may vary).
Now before we get into Skills, lets go over what type you are. There are 3 types of PF(s) depending on your location you may want to choose one over the other for better results. Here are the 3 types of PF(s): "Balanced" "Shrewd" "Power"
Balanced: If you want to have a little bit of everything, basically is the All Around Version of the PF
Power: If you like play defense this is for you, but for every positive there is a negative, for example if you choose Power, Your defensive stats increases, but your offensive stats suffers.
Shrewd: If you want to be more offensive here this is for you, this is the opposite of Power, for example if you choose Shrewd, Your offensive stats increase, but your defensive stats suffer.
That's about it for your basics, lets "Go on" to the next section.

Oh so you think you got Skills? ( edit )
So you think you got skills? Let's go over some that are key to a PF's Success.
Here is a List of Skills for PF's that every PF should use before trying to go crazy on those skills:
(These skills are not in order. Ideal skill set for Lv50 PF)
    1.Manual Block
    2.Manual Layup
    3.Tip in
    4.Chip Out
    5.Backward Two Step
    6.Dunk at Will (Manual)
    7.Box Out
    8.Power Block
    9.Sp Middle Shot III
These skills are great for PF(s). Depending on what type of player you are, your skill choices may vary, but for Balanced I recommend this.

    Rebound & Blocking ( edit )
Aight, we going to make this short and to the point. Depending on your location will decide how well you can Rebound, I will not sugar coat this, but the game does rely on ping when it comes to Rebounding. When it comes to ping or ms, you want 50 or lower to really be good at rebounds/boards. Now this doesn't mean oh well I can't rebound with 90ping, Wrong! You can just know it will be a heated battle for those rebounds. For those with a higher ping, you have two great options imo. You can master your Chip out and learn to read when to use and when not to, or *smirks* become a Blocking Monster. So lets say you can't rebound all to well, that's where blocking comes in. Unlike Rebounding, Blocking doesn't rely on Location/Ping. Blocking can make or break a game in all honesty, if you block your opponent from scoring all game they start tilting and fear you on the court everytime they see you. When it comes to Blocking using the Sprint Button or (Shift) you can increase your chance of getting a good block, but this is also something you have to practice and must learn to react properly to whether if it's a layup or a dunk. Now with that said lets move to the final section of this Guide.

    Dunking ( edit )
Dunking is one of the best thing a PF can do, Showing the Power and Speed of flying through the air. If you have used Manual Layup, "Dunk at Will I" is no different, only real difference is you're dunking. You have a lot more angles and can use it to catch opponents off guard, or even Over Power them, such as a PG trying to Block a Dunk, haha we PF do not back down from those. Although they can block you with a Perfect Block, which is rare, but just know it can happen. Try not to abuse your dunk, if you dunk too much people will start to notice and will postion themselves to block your dunk everytime. It's good to use it sparingly, so people won't be able to predict it. That's about it on dunking goodluck everyone.
