Makes the ball bounce off the ground higher and can help your PG so he can dive at the right time and get the loose ball.

Yea if u don't have a good pg it's a waste of a slot, it can also backfire and give it to enemy pg after u get a block

other than looking better than normal block, pg/dg/sg can dive for it.
take off when you play with no divers.

1) When you block your opponent(with power block on), other PF/C can not putback dunk/tip in shot the ball after block.
2) Ball bounces to the ground, so PGs can dive instantly after block
3) Longer block range(In my opinion)

It is quite hard, must be pure instant DD to put back the ball after power block.
