  • About non spc SF

Guys,i wanna ask you if there is much difference with spc and non.spc SF ?

  • #2
As with any spc character they have 40 statpoints extra, and some others have extra points like +4middle shot or something, you can read it if you create a character and choose the special ones.

It's not better, he's trolling. You can still do well with a non-spc but a spc will always have an advantage just because of the 40 pts.

The only time I've seen people pick non spc over spc is for a height advantage in swing play for SG's.

He's not trolling. A lot of the regular characters have better animations than their SPC counterparts.

Don't be dumb, I even mentioned a specific regular character that was better but telling new players an overly generalized statement like Regular character > Spc is simply wrong. Care to elaborate on the "a lot" of other regular characters with advantages? What's the point of responding with vague statements when this is the TIPS section.

First of all this is the TIPS section, so let's just try to calm down here. You're clearly distraught - there's no need for that. Second, all you needed was the sentence "Care to elaborate on the 'a lot' of other regular characters with advantage." All the other stuff just makes you look like you're crying LOL. Now as for the actual gameplay mechanics, non-SPC's have better animations. For example, when compared to non-SPC, the Naughty Kitties SF/Nobles Sf short layups have an awkward animation with a shorter range. Jack PF's dunk range is more centered. Ginger SG is easily blocked, etc. Non-SPC animations as basic as they are have great angles and range on dunks, layups etc. EvilSanta (top PF NA/EU) told me about a lot of the advantages of non-SPC over SPC, and that Korean gameplay actually prefers Non-SPC over SPC. I'm not 100% sure about these facts and they may be wrong but I have had many different pro players tell me the same things.

so regarding Big Joe's dunk animation and layups, is it considered easily blocked or is it better than a normal character?

tbh i dont buy into the nonspc over spc but i do agree with the following

ginger is easily blocked ( i have a video of me dogged defense blocking a ginger)
jack dunk angle is horrendous and super easy to block
                        naughty kitten ackward layups

also i would assume that height is the reason some ppl in other versions use non spc
