Question about dunk and layup?

I have created a PF and whenever i try to dunk it only does llyups, except if i'ts a freestyle. why is that? is there a diference in how you do dunk and layup or is it just random?
ofc im still low level but i see alot os PF dunking, my friend also has a lvl 9 pF and has the same problem

If you run towards the basket as a PF or C, the button to dunk is F. If you want to do a layup/post shot then just use D.

PF's and C's have dunk-at-will, which is press F to dunk basically.

That should be in some kinda of tutorial or tip to inform rookie C's and PF's

Wow rachel you too pro you can do manual dunk with c??

Yeah I got it early. It's supposed to come with the Center buff patch along with the PF nerf.

C doesn't have manual dunk, but PF's do. Manual dunk is different than dunk-at-will.
Manual dunk lets you choose the direction you want to dunk in(just like manual layup lets you choose which direction to layup).
Both C's and PF's have dunk-at-will, which is press F to dunk.
