Unless it is considered a full next installment and not a spin off series for console. It won't be FS3.
Sadly GK has nothing to do with FS 3on3 so we can't get an answer for that.
Though I highly doubt this is considered the next full installment, or else they would have just called it Freestyle 3.

Yeah we shall see. I was under rhe impression they included the "3 on 3" part instead of just "3" to let the everyday gamers that the game isn't full court 5v5.
