Nah, that's not true. If you've ever played as a dash SG people will do this to you ALL the time when you try to get into position. You can bump someone with shift as long as they are moving towards your general direction. I remember the first time it happened to me, an SF named Occur spammed it when I played dash big and I didn't believe it until I tried it myself.

Not sure if intentional, what Incase did was really smart, he shift bumped you right before swiping at the ball, effectively stopping you from diving IF the ball had dropped.
