Personally, if I was a player mod I would've let them win. All us players (including the Mods) know the struggle it is to obtain an SP Deck. Player Mods lose nothing from losing and the players who played in the event have a lot to gain from winning. But it is what it is, gg mang.

They told me that it's an event and the gave us guidelines all of the games were winable and I made sure to keep it close and not make it just a cake walk for everyone that participated.. I wanted to make sure they earned it instead of just handing it to them because that's also what life isn't about.. life doesn't give free handouts

I was playing without any stats as well as I'm not able to play unless it's on the weekends for a short period of time and what I meant by keep close is within 1-2 possessions that's why we started doing flying dash but other than that I was chucking for the most part.. I also made some shots that would have been blocked.. and I understand why it was 3 people chosen randomly rather than choosing your friends to play with you that way it gives more people an equal chance to participate for a chance to win

If you were put into the shoes of any of the players that lost today and you can confidently say that the way the PMODS acted was how you would want them to act and truly believe this then congratulations - you are a sociopath.

Clearly life does give free handouts. To say that it doesn't is incredibly pessimistic and I'm sorry for what ever environment you grew up in if you believe this.

Mods didn't have to let you win, you're lucky enough to even have a chance to play for an sp deck while many people spends $100 without getting a deck.. so don't complain.

If you don't grow up in a previledged state then life doesn't give free handouts everyone has to grind in some way shape or form. I know that only one team was able to win. My decision on how I approach it is I'm going to make sure the participants earn their wish that's all. I'm competitive but I never grew up where I didn't have to work to get something that I want.

Not a scumbag because of only having one team win. Yes I understand that it is Christmas event. I was really the only one not lagging Kuzi and Val were both spiking throughout the series of games we played and I gave all the teams multiple times to score because I missed loose balls on purpose to try to help mistiming the dive

I have played with people who don't know the mechanics as well as I do. I try to help them improve that's all I can really do

You had to grind and earn the love from your parents? You had to grind and earn their trust? I understand there are people out there and my condolences goes out to them.


In your other post you said that you didn't try your hardest. This means that you recognized that it was the morally correct thing to do to let them win right? Even if you think that they should work for it, you believed that they should've won. You don't lose anything from this and could literally completely change someones mood for the better. So why did you beat them?
