    Hey all,

    As some people referred to in this thread http://forums.gamekiss.com/forum/fre...me-for-a-match
    the time it takes to find a match has severely increased.
    However I noticed (and im sure many others as well) is when you make the room for the first time, the waiting time isn't always as long as it can be for subsequent matches.
    What I also noticed is that sometimes friends who are in your team, show up in your friend list as if they are in the lobby.
    There have been scenario's where we could be waiting for literally 10 minutes, and we decided to 'remake' the room, and instantly finding a match as a result.

    I don't know much about programming, but it seems to me something changes in the match finding algorithm, possibly since the last update?
    Without actual data these are nothing but assumptions, but it might help those involved on identifying the issue, should more similar complaints come up.

    In the last update they introduced matchmaking balancing and "Switch to AI Mode" during such matchmaking. Unbalanced matches wont be as quick to match up, as the system is still looking for "a better opponent" that doesn't exist.

    For example: Take a team of 4 50s vs 4 sub-30s. They will get an instant match the first time both teams enter matchmaking. Subsequent matches will not join as fast as the matchmaker now looks for unique, fairer competition. I think there is something broken in this search as it does not lead you back to the mismatched game like it used to when no other acceptable opponent is found.

    If you want to see what I mean working- set up a relatively balanced game. If you have 4 50s and 4 sub-30s on separate teams, mix them. Put 2 50s with 2 of the sub 30s. The matchmaker will no longer hesitate.

      I think this very well may be the exact issue, where remaking the room "resets" the search and instantly finds another match which may not be as balanced.

      I believe it is safe to assume that, with the current population, most of us prefer 'unbalanced' matches rather than no match.
      After all, 'unbalance' comes more from player skill rather than their level in this game.

            As state this issue is been around for long already, some ppl say it is a measure to prevent lowbie teams to play vs highbie teams, but when a game has close to no population i think people just want to play regardless of the opponent, that and sometimes you get matched like 5 or 6 times with the same team over and over again, GM's or Dev's have yet to let us know if it is indeed a bug or just something they added to the game that doesn't actually make anyone's life easier as us highbies cannot play and lowbies cannot learn the game.
