PG or DG?

Hello ! am new at the game and am f2p with the event i get the chance to buy a spc and i want to pick goku but am hesitating beetween PG and DG specially that people are saying there will be some new major changes in the next patch so can you tell me what are these changes and help me to make a choice ? ( i probably won't have extra skill or slots nor good cards and a decent ping )

Depends on your playstyle, I personally find DG very fun as the position has a ton of mix ups. Pass and run, shoot pass, pop up are a few things you get to use on DG that you cannot on PG. Also DG has a ton more scoring potential with different ways of playing including dash, iso, swing. PG imo is more of a defensive position and can be very game changing and is very essential against other good teams. You will be able to shut down dash and iso (the 2 main playstyles in the game) with proper positioning and defensive skill.
